Erika Steinbauer, PA-C, CAQ-Psychiatry

Physician Assistant

(she/her/hers)

Working through a trauma-informed, non-judgmental, LGBTQ+ inclusive lens, Erika’s focus is on the client as a whole person with rich life experiences and complex emotions, not simply a diagnosis. She is committed to establishing a deep level of trust with each client, which she hopes will serve as the foundation for their therapeutic alliance. Erika takes the time to get to know each of her patients, understanding their individual experiences and needs, and working with them to develop effective strategies for managing their mental health.

She believes that medication, along with therapy, can be a life-changing tool in moving toward mental wellness. Erika provides clients with medication management while frequently checking in on sleep, nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, and social support. Her approach is warm and welcoming, and her patients often leave sessions feeling heard, understood, and hopeful for the future.

Erika offers both telehealth and in-person sessions Monday – Friday 9am-5pm; alternative times may be available by request. She provides her services in both English and Spanish.
