Sarah Berndt MS, RD, CSSD, CD

Dietitian

Sarah is a registered dietitian who received a Bachelor of Science degree in both zoology and dietetics from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Upon graduation Sarah continued her education at Boston University completing a dual program becoming a Registered Dietitian and receiving her Master's Degree in Nutritional Science. During her time at Boston University Sarah focused on sports nutrition and completed her practicum with the NCAA. It was also during this time that Sarah began helping collegiate athletes with eating disorders and found a calling to help others find a healthy balance with fueling their body. Sarah has worked with collegiate athletes, professional athletes, recreational athletes and those looking to boost their energy and become more active. 

Sarah specializes in providing medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling for sports nutrition, eating disorders, weight management, digestive disorders, food allergies and sensitivities. She is a board certified specialist in sports dietetics and also has extensive experience in the fitness and culinary industries. Sarah is passionate about providing empowering guidance that is designed to nourish and nurture oneself.

What made you go into this specialty?

I grew up with a large garden, orchard and honey bees at our home. I would sell produce and honey at the Farmer's Market and started cooking when I was very young. I have always been active and involved in sports and with my homelife focused on food my love of nutrition and fueling for health began at a young age. I enjoy helping others find balance and comfort in teaching them how they can fuel their lifestyle and overcome challenges. I believe in the power of nutrition tailored to one's individual needs and goals.
