Dr. Desai is a graduate of the University of Illinois, College of Medicine.  Dr. Desai completed his general psychiatry and child and adolescent fellowship training at the University of Wisconsin, Department of Psychiatry, in 2009. Dr. Desai provides his patients with medication management, along with individual and family-based therapeutic interventions. His practice includes diagnosis, assessment and treatment for several conditions such as mood, anxiety, thought, developmental, and externalizing disorders.  Specific areas of interest include management of ADHD, anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder, autism, and sleep disorders. Dr. Desai is a preferred provider on most local, regional, and national insurance panels, including but not limited to Physicians Plus, Unity, Dean, WPS, UMR/Alliance, WEA, and BCBS. He also sees individuals and families on a self-pay or sliding scale basis. 

*Note: Dr. Desai does not see clients in an OP setting at EBH. He works exclusively with our AIOP and IOP programs.
